On Oct. 11, 2018, the Baker-Polito Administration announced $984,000 in funding to 12 communities under its Housing Choice Initiative (HCI) Small Town Grants Program. These grants were available to small towns with a 2016 population under 7,000. Here is a list of communities and the housing and infrastructure projects that will be supported. MHP is providing staff and financial support to HCI.

These grants were exclusively available to 69 communities that were designated by the state as eligible for the Housing Choice Initiative (HCI) due to their housing production and use of best practices.
