Boston --- MHP staff members Vanessa Okonkwo and Annaly Monteiro-Serena have been accepted into the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce 2024 Boston Future Leaders Program. Okonkwo is counsel on MHP’s legal team and Monteiro-Serena is senior programs coordinator on the homeownership team.
Okonkwo joined MHP as a paralegal and loan closing coordinator and was promoted to counsel in 2018. She is responsible for assisting MHP's general counsel in the guidance of all MHP legal affairs.
Monteiro-Serena joined MHP in 2022. Her responsibilities include assisting in the continued operations and development of the ONE Mortgage Program and its subsidiary, ONE+Boston.
Boston Future Leaders Program and other trainings are designed to help Chamber members invest in their workforce through comprehensive leadership development offerings.
Presented in partnership with Harvard Business School, the training provides emerging and promising leaders with a socially conscious and civically engaged leadership toolkit blending academic content, practical application, and networking. Participants graduate from the program with the skills, experiences and connections needed to lead Boston and the region into an equitable, innovative future.
