Commits $15 million for 192 mixed-income units

BOSTON, May 18, 2005 --- Using its ability to provide low-cost financing for affordable rental housing, the Massachusetts Housing Partnership (MHP) is providing a $15 million long-term loan for Rolling Green Apartments, a 192-unit mixed-income rental development in Andover.

BOSTON, May 13, 2005 --- The Massachusetts Housing Partnership (MHP) is committing $8.3 million in first-mortgage financing and $1.5 million in interest-free second-mortgage subsidy to help the non-profit Falmouth Housing Corporation (FHC) create 90 new rental units.

ARLINGTON, February 15, 2005 --- With two-family home prices rising every day, the Housing Corporation of Arlington (HCA) has bought and renovated six two-family homes into 12 affordable rental apartments, thanks in part to financing from the Massachusetts Housing Partnership (MHP).

CHELSEA, January 17, 2005 --- Using its ability to provide tax-credit financing to owners of smaller affordable rental housing developments, the Massachusetts Housing Partnership announced today that it will provide $6.15 million to Chelsea Neighborhood Housing Services (NHS) for the refinancing and renovation of 86 units of affordable rental housing.

NEW BEDFORD, December 6, 2004 - The Massachusetts Housing Partnership (MHP) is continuing to support the revitalization of the Acushnet Heights neighborhood of New Bedford, announcing today it will commit $300,000 in financing to help support the conversion of a former school into 12 units of affordable rental housing.
