Built on former state hopsital site; project built with 40B; agency made loan commitment too

FOXBOROUGH, Sept. 20, 2007 --- It's not often that a suburban town and its housing authority tackle the challenge of developing affordable housing but that's exactly what state and local leaders celebrated on September 19 when the Foxborough Housing Authority (FHA) officially opened 18 new affordable rental apartments built on the grounds of the former Foxborough State Hospital.

FRAMINGHAM, July 20, 2007 --- A downtown Framingham apartment building that has provided homes for elderly and disabled residents for nearly 30 years will continue to remain affordable thanks in part to a $3.29 million loan commitment from the Massachusetts Housing Partnership (MHP).

MHP provided early technical assistance and then committed $750,000 in first- and second- mortgage financing.

Grand-opening celebration commemorates life of founding board member Ray Dooley

BOSTON, April 18, 2007 --- Housing and neighborhood leaders past and present gathered on Glenville Avenue in Allston earlier this month to celebrate the grand opening of Ray Dooley Apartments, a 59-unit affordable rental housing effort named after the longtime former budget director for Mayor Ray Flynn.
