BOSTON --- For 40 years, the Massachusetts Housing Partnership (MHP) has expanded access to affordable housing and promoted housing equity in communities across the Commonwealth. The milestone anniversary was celebrated with a “40 Years in Partnership” reception at the University of Massachusetts Club of Boston on October 21, 2025.

BOSTON --- During a panel discussion at the annual conference of the Massachusetts National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials (MassNAHRO) MHP Senior Advisor and Real Estate Development Officer Laura Shufelt explained how regardless of staff size and budget, housing authorities have an opportunity to build affordable housing.

BOSTON --- The Massachusetts Housing Partnership (MHP) has received a $260,000 grant from the Barr Foundation to support a project called “Coordinated Commonwealth: A Shared Vision for Sustainable Land Use, Growth, and Mobility in Massachusetts.”

MHP’s Homeownership team is celebrating an impactful fiscal year 2025 with nearly 500 families purchasing their first home through our ONE Mortgage programs.

BOSTON --- The Massachusetts Housing Partnership has announced that after more than four decades of transformative leadership, Executive Director Clark Ziegler will be retiring at the end of February 2026.
