LUDLOW --- One month after celebrating the grand opening of 96 new apartments at a previously abandoned Fitchburg mill, WinnCompanies had to break out the ribbon and scissors again, this time to open the Residences at Mill 10, a 75-unit mixed-income development for seniors.

In its ongoing effort to help communities learn about the value and effectiveness of local affordable housing trusts, MHP recently held regional workshops in Williamstown and Amherst.

Smaller homes so rural seniors can downsize. Mill housing so successful that the town has asked MHP to help it do more. A refinancing to help a new owner stabilize downtown properties. That's just three examples of financing MHP did in Fiscal Year 2017 to help communities in the western part of the state.

MHP used its loan products in Fiscal Year 2017 to provide low-cost financing to Springfield property owners to help them ensure affordability and neighborhood stability for years to come.
