LAWRENCE --- The grand opening of 73 new apartment at Duck Mill was a chance for Lawrence Community Works to show how much pride it takes in trying to make the city a better place.

PITTSFIELD --- MHP continued its support of rental housing in Pittsfield, this time using its Treasury Risk Share Program to provide a 40-year, low-interest loan to support Marathon Development Group’s efforts to fix, stabilize and ensure affordability of New Amsterdam Apartments for years to come.

BOSTON --- MHP and our co-sponsors are pleased to bring back the much requested Affirmative Fair Housing Marketing (AFHM) and lottery training this spring. The two-part series will be held on Tuesday, March 21 and Wednesday, March 22, 2017. Both sessions will run from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at MassHousing, One Beacon Street, Boston, MA 02110.

BOSTON --- MHP will host it's 11th annual Housing Institute on June 7 & 8, 2017 at the SpringHill Suites at Devens Common Center, 27 Andrews Parkway, Devens, MA 01434.

​MIDDLEBORO --- In its heyday, the three-story wood-framed shoe factory on Peirce Street stood proudly next to the neighborhood’s single-family homes, employing a hundred workers. Now, it's been preserved as affordable housing development called Shoe Shop Place.

Following up a successful training in September, the Massachusetts Housing Partnership (MHP) and the Central Massachusetts Regional Planning Commission (CMRPC) will jointly host a training focused on Municipal Affordable Housing Trusts (MAHT).
