SUDBURY - Nearly a year after submitting an application, a Southborough developer obtained a permit last week to build a condominium complex on Rte. 20. The 40B project, called Landham Crossing, will consist of 31 condos, eight of which will be designated as affordable housing, said Ben Stevens, owner of Trask Development.

Rehoboth: Looks at turning old school into vet, senior housing

REHOBOTH - Town Administrator Jeff Ritter announced at the Board of Selectmen meeting recently that the town is looking into turning the old Anawan School into approximately 35 to 50 units of affordable housing for seniors and veterans. Rehoboth is a town with a population of just under 12,000 located just southwest of Taunton.

AYER -- State Rep. Sheila Harrington, R-Groton, then state Sen. Jamie Eldridge, D-Acton, were asked by Ayer selectmen to state whether they support rezoning the vacant Vicksburg Square on Devens to permit a 246 unit apartment complex. Harrington glowingly endorsed the proposal. Eldridge reserved comment.
