BOSTON --- As part of its ongoing effort to provide intensive affordable housing training for local officials and volunteers, MHP is hosting its 19th Housing Institute on June 25 and 26 at the DCU Center Convention Center in Worcester. The venue is conveniently located along the commuter rail. Ample parking is available two blocks from the convention center.

The conference brings together municipal leaders, volunteers and employees in suburban and rural communities and Gateway Cities to problem solve, network, and share ideas on the development process of affordable housing across the Commonwealth. An optional site visit to an affordable housing development is planned.
One of the many highlights will be the Housing Hero Awards ceremony on the second day of the conference, in which local officials, volunteers and communities are honored for their role in supporting affordable housing.
A draft schedule along with session descriptions will be available when registration opens in April.
