Join the Massachusetts Housing Partnership (MHP) for a workshop on the fundamentals of Chapter 40B statute.
The workshop will be held on Monday, Oct. 15 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Reading Public Library, Community Room A, 64 Middlesex Avenue, Reading, MA 01867.
Agenda/topics
Led by Ezra Glen, and based on the Chapter 40B handbook for Zoning Boards of Appeal, this workshop will provide an overview of the Chapter 40B statute and review roles and responsibilities of the zoning boards of appeals (ZBA) and other municipal boards. Topics covered include:
- What is Chapter 40B?
- Overview of critical deadlines
- How to conduct an effective public hearing
- Best practices for working with developers
