ONEBOSTON, March 17, 2015 --- Two more lenders have agreed to offer ONE Mortgage, the state's most affordable program for first-time homebuyers.

MHP is announcing today that Greenfield Savings Bank and Berkshire Bank have joined the ONE team and will now be offering the mortgage program to its customers.

Greenfield and Berkshire are the third and fourth lending institutions to sign up for ONE since November, when it was announced that Avida Bank and Salem Five had agreed to offer the ONE Mortgage Program.

Administered by MHP and offered through participating lenders, ONE Mortgage is a new, simplified version of SoftSecond, which from 1991 through 2013 helped over 17,000 families purchase their first home. The shift from SoftSecond's two-loan structure to ONE loan was made to make it simpler for borrowers and easier for financial institutions to administer.

Since announcing the change in 2013, 29 lending institutions are now offering ONE Mortgage. For a complete list of lenders and who to contact, click here.
