State sets Ch. 40B training for Oct. 2 in Randolph

BOSTON, Aug. 19, 2015 --- A training on the latest developments in the state's affordable housing law known as Ch. 40B will be held on Friday, Oct. 2 from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at The Lantana, 43 Scanlon Drive, Randolph.

The training will focus on providing up-to-date information on the law, the comprehensive permit process and how communities can work with the law to increase affordable housing opportunities. For more information about the training agenda, read the conference brochure.

Planning and zoning board members, public officials, muncipal staff, affordable housing developers and housing advocates are encouraged to attend.

Guest speaker will be Chystal Kornegay, the state's undersecretary for housing. The event is being sponsored by the Citizens' Housing Planning Association, the state Dept. of Housing and Community Development (DHCD), MassHousing and MHP.
