Approved homebuyer education classes
All ONE Mortgage borrowers must complete a homebuyer education class that has been approved by the Massachusetts Homeownership Collaborative. This is a list list of approved education providers. Class times, locations, cost, and language capacity may vary depending on the agency providing the class.

Sewage rules create gap in MA housing supply - by Joseph Peznola
BOSTON, July 10, 2015 --- As part of our analysis of impediments to housing growth, the Massachusetts Housing Partnership asked Joseph D. Peznola of Hancock Associates to analyze the state’s sewage treatment regulations. Peznola's analysis found that state regulations offer relatively simple system solutions for projects under 10,000 gallons per day, but projects of 10,000 gallons or more require very expensive systems. This often forces developments to be much larger than may be necessary so it can cover sewage construction and maintenance costs. Hancock also found that regulations are based on water usage levels prior to the advent of more efficient plumbing fixtures and appliances. This reports outlines and problems with existing regulations and makes recommendations for reasonable changes.
