Job Overview Summary
Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Controller will plan and oversee the accounting operations for MHP. Responsibilities include producing financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of MHP's reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles, as well as state and federal regulations. Accounting functions include accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, payroll, and benefits reconciliations. The Controller will supervise key accounting staff and manage accounting operations, financial reporting, and monthly closes. In addition, the Controller will oversee and manage most aspects of the annual audit including planning and day-to-day interaction with the audit team, preparation of audit workpapers, draft audit reports and financial statements.

Hybrid Schedule
The Controller position will work out of MHP’s Boston office a minimum of two days per week and may work remotely up to three days per week. At least one office day must be on Wednesday, the designated team day. MHP’s office is conveniently located minutes from South Station.
Compensation
The projected compensation range for this role is $125,000 to $140,000. Any final offer will be based on various factors including job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience. The listed range is just one component of MHP's total compensation package for employees.

Travel:
Travel may occasionally be required within Massachusetts and to attend annual out-of-state trade conferences, such as the annual SAGE conference. A valid Driver’s license, ability to acquire one, and/or reliable means of transportation is required.
