PROVINCETOWN --- In September, public officials and funders celebrated the grand opening of Provincetown’s Stable Path. When officials were done speaking, resident Tracey Primavera delivered a heartfelt message about homelessness, self-discovery, community kindness and what having a home means to her and her dad.

BOSTON --- Given the limited mission of Municipal Affordable Housing Trusts (MAHT) as defined in MGL Ch. 44, Sec 55c, MAHTs that use Community Preservation Act (CPA) funds for all allowable CPA community housing uses have been in a quandary. Some may not even realize it.

WESTFORD --- A story with roots stretching back to 2001 when MHP’s Rita Farrell traveled to Westford to learn about the town’s plans to turn a sand pit into housing reached another milestone earlier this summer when local leaders gathered to celebrate the completion of Stony Brook, Phase II.

NORTHAMPTON --- MHP and the Pioneer Valley Planning Commission (PVPC) invite local officials and board members to a workshop on Chapter 40B, the Comprehensive Permit law. The workshop will be held on Monday, Sept. 19 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the Northampton Senior Center.
