BOSTON --- In support of its mission to increase production of equitable and sustainable affordable housing across Massachusetts, MHP has hired a director of sustainability and climate initiatives. Lauren Baumann comes to MHP as a leader in sustainable, affordable housing.

Conference takes place in Worcester, easily accessible by car or commuter rail

BOSTON --- Now in its 17th year, MHP's Housing Institute will be in person and takes place on Wednesday, June 12, and Thursday, June 13, at the AC Hotel, 125 Front Street, Worcester, MA 01608. The site is easily accessible by car or commuter rail.

BOSTON --- Tom Hopper knows his way around data. In his 17 years at MHP he has developed database systems, designed metrics, and created data tools and analytical reports that have helped shape state policy and the conversation around the commonwealth’s housing needs.

BOSTON, January 22, 2024 --- Less than a week after her State of the Commonwealth address in which she vowed to tackle rising housing costs, Governor Maura Healey announced the commitment of resources to support production and preservation of more than 1,900 housing units in 19 communities across the state.

STATE --- For over 30 years, MHP has been providing direct technical assistance to communities across the state. To help move our work forward, the Community Assistance team is scheduling eight virtual listening sessions. We invite you to join us to share your insights, challenges, and ideas, which will help us build a robust understanding of your local housing landscape and assist your region moving forward.

The Affordable Homes Act provides the funding and policies to be intentional about affordability, equity, and choice so that Massachusetts can grow the affordable housing supply and the overall housing supply.
