Non-profit: Citizen's Housing and Planning Association (CHAPA) CHAPA is the non-profit umbrella organization for affordable housing and community development activities throughout Massachusetts. The CHAPA web site includes information for those seeking to increase the supply of affordable housing and for lottery information for those looking for affordable housing.
Non-profit: HousingPolicy.org Toolkit MA The HousingPolicy.org Toolkit MA is an affordable housing strategy toolbox developed by Citizens' Housing and Planning Association (CHAPA) and Massachusetts Housing Partnership (MHP). The Toolbox MA provides easy access to strategies and best practices related to the preservation and production of a full range of affordable housing choices.
Non-profit: Local Initiatives Support Corporation LISC helps resident-led, community-based development organizations transform distressed communities and neighborhoods into healthy ones by providing capital, technical expertise, training and information to support the development of local leadership and the creation of affordable housing, commercial, industrial and community facilities, businesses and jobs.
Non-profit: MassAccess Housing Registry The MassAccess Housing Registry website helps people to find affordable housing in Massachusetts. A key feature of the Registry is to highlight homes for people with disabilities who need accessible or barrier-free housing. This site is managed by the Citizens' Housing and Planning Association (CHAPA).
State: Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) DHCD is the state's lead agency for affordable housing, offering programs, housing and funding to communities to serve those with low and moderate incomes.

State: MassHousing A state agency that supports the development and preservation of affordable rental and homeowership housing.
State: The Community and Economic Development Assistance Corp. (CEDAC) CEDAC is a public-private, community development finance institution that provides technical assistance, pre-development lending, and consulting services to non-profit organizations involved in housing development, workforce development, neighborhood economic development, and capital improvements to child care facilities.
