Housing Partnerships

MHP encourages the formation and ongoing efforts of municipally appointed partnerships and housing committees. MHP supports these efforts with resource materials and training sessions. MHP's Housing Needs Workbook (June, 2003)

The Housing Needs Workbook is designed to assist communities and partnerships in assessing local housing needs for families, seniors, special needs populations, and owners and renters.

Taking the Initiative: Affordable Housing Strategies Guidebook

MHP has excerpted parts from the comprehensive Taking the Initiative Guidebook. Published in March 2003, this resource is a how-to guide on how to make affordable housing efforts a reality in your community and a good resource for communities trying to figure out how to make housing efforts a reality.
